Hey guys,

Well, It looks like i'm going to get a Legend CoupE!!! =). Type 2 Engine which means 93+, but most probably the 1993 model since cost becomes an issue. Just got a Few q's to clairify before i dive in.

1) What should it cost. I know what the blue book is, but that isn't always useful. What is the REAL going cost. I saw a 93 Legend Coupe LS (which is the one I want) auto trans 120k miles on it for about 8.5g's. I'm looking for a 6spd.

2) I saw some 0-60 stats on this car, and it was around 7.3 (w/TCS) and 6.3 (w/o TCS). Is there really a drastic difference? Or are these times BS. Any have any real timings, like something from their OWN car.

3) What should I look at when buying a legend. My bro got a 91 Sedan LS and its pretty sweet. He had no major problems which was cool, but I wasn't really involved in the search for the car. Any thing I should look out for? Or should check up on (on a particular car)? or just some general Tips.

Err, i know I forgot some questions, i'll add em later..

Aite well thanks for ne info.

The 7.2-7.30-60 time for an auto TYPE II is pretty typical. Almost any TYPE II Coupe driver can achieve those times with the TCS on or off. However, the 6.3 with TCS OFF is NOT for the auto, but for the 6-Speed. In fact, that is a number that can be achieved, but is not easy for most 6-Speed drivers. I personally achieve 6.7 0-60s in my 6-Speed with the TCS ON. I haven't been able to get good times with the TCS OFF since I haven't mastered the launch, so I spin the tires too often, plus I hardly do it so I have no pratice.

I personally feel $8.5K for an LS 6-Speed Coupe is pretty good provided the car checks out okay.
