do macbook (newest one 13") and mac mini's have the same cd/dvd drives?

i believe so. what are you meaning by mac minis? theres MacBook Pro, MacBook and Macbook Air, those are the models out right now, then they have the old ibooks

because i have the macbook.... cd drive went bad and i found a super drive for mac mini for $99 (the cheapest) and when i went on ebay for a superdrive for mac book it said it was compatible with mini but i wanted to make sure

well i would imagine if it says its compatible, it would be compatible. haha

well the mac mini is more or less a "desktop" compared to the macbooks which are obviously laptops, but who knows they might be compatible.
