Thought I'd post a few pics and comments about some of the minor "comfort and convenience" mods I've made on my 90LS sedan.

I mounted a Honda/Alpine 6-disc changer in the glove box. Perfect fit ..drilled a 3/4" hole in the bottom of the box to accommodate the cable and plug. The changer is "friction fitted" in the glove box ...and the rigid foam wedge keeps it in place. Just had to shave a bit of plastic off the lock catch to prevent it from touching the changer as the glove box is closed.

As the Bose stereo does not accommodate this changer, I used the FM modulator set-up, and put the wired remote in the on-dash storage pocket. Again, drilled a hole to get the plug and wiring thru. The plastic frame that holds the wired remote is screwed to the back of the storage pocket.

This is one of those $1.79 cupholders from Walmart. I used a screw on the inside of the glovebox, (you can see it in the CD changer photo) and made a styrofoam wedge (leather covered!) to keep the cupholder at the correct level. The wedge is screwed / glued to the cupholder. The rig can easily be removed for cleaning.

This cupholder is for back-seat passengers. Its one of those collapsible front armrest cupholders out of a mid to late 90's GM car. Works great. Cost me $5 at the wrecker's.

It always bugged me that the sunvisors would flop around when I moved them to block sun coming in the side windows. I guess when new, they might not have been as floppy. So, I got a single sunvisor bracket from a Honda Accord for the driver-side, and used a coat-hanger hook from a 91 Civic sedan for the passenger side.

Hope these ideas are helpful to other forum members!!!

Those are really nice mods. I still think the taurus cup/coin holder thingy is still be best cup holder setup for the fronts. I am not sure though if they will fit underneath the stock tape player. If you do install an indash cd player though you should install the indash cup holder.

see it here http://www.acura-legend.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=67375 .

I will be coming to regina for a few hours on saturday. let me know if you wan to meet up.

Thanks for all the positive feedback!!! Really appreciate it.

Yeah ...I have a Taurus cupholder unit that I "may" put in later; however, I just bought an OEM CD player off e-bay to mount below the Bose stereo, so I want to see how that works out first.

Yeah ...Solaide. I'll send you an e-mail and maybe we can tag up and compare notes if we get a chance.
