I have Two Alpine MRPF200 4ch amps. I wanna know if I can bridge the two to run 180w X 4ch max with no frequency filter turned on the amp. The X-over on the amp has 3 selections Off/HP/LP, off meaning full range. No where on the instructions does it state that I must run LP to use the bridged setup. But the little box on the instructions makes me hesitate to do this. I want to run both amps bridged to run full-range speakers, can this be done?

For your viewing pleasure I have included the insstructions. Kinda crappy pic but hope it helps.

No problem at all running the system bridge with the x-over "OFF" The picture is simply illustrating an example if you where to bridge and use a single woofer. In this case it would have assumed you are using it for a subwoofer. Long ago I used to run a bridged Alpine amp running a single center channel in full range. The amp doesn't care, but the speaker may not be able to handle a true full range. Depending on what speakers you are driving, I'd still recomend setting the HP to about 40-60hz though. Unless you don't have a sub, then I can understand why you want full range.
