Monroe Sensamatic vs OEM

I searched this a couple different times and a couple say the Monroe struts suck and a few said they were acceptable.

As you know, OEM's are $120 each and Monroe's are $79 each plus they have a buy three get the fourth free rebate right now.

My car is totally stock and I don't plan to lower it. I just want to improve the ride quality at this point (stockers are busted and leaked out I'm guessing thousands of miles ago - previous owner).

Thanks for your comments and advice. I made the mistake of putting $35 Gabriel struts on my old Accord and won't do that again, but I hate to spend $120 on OEMs

I just put a pair (monroe) on the front of my car this summer and am happy so far. I have to do the back now and some other front end suspension work.
You get what you paid for. I wanted New Oem springs & got KYB GR2's , I had for a year What a mistake! both rear shocks blew!! The ride sucked!
I had t0 replace with new Eibach springs & Koni struts! had a camber kit & wow my car is so different!! it woke up! good luck I hope it turns out okay!!
i have monroes on mine

they are soft, so soft that when i do a uturn in a cul de sac my bumper can hit the ground
what about KYB on stock springs?
Koni's or nothing at all. Pay for the best and cry once.
Even if I plan to never lower the car and want to retain stock ride quality?
pay a little bit more and get konis

if you dont move the adjustment C clips, then it wont lower the car at all.

and they are set to full soft by default (i believe) so you will barely notice a difference, except for they have a lifetime warranty
