should the muffler shake while its parked or idling at a stop...If so should it be pretty subtle?

My muffler is shaking in these two situations..

Hell no it shouldnt shake. Most likely the anchors that hold the muffler to the car go loose perhaps upon impact with something on the road or maybe just old muffler rusting out where it attaches to car. Just take it too a muffler shop to have it check out. If your muffler old and rusted now is a great time to Do some upgrading/ modifications there. If you leave it as is and it has play eventually with a little more time its gonna get more play eventually to the point where its gonna start rattling noticeably and its gonna sound "Ghetto"
