Here's a picture of my 1987 LS Coupe. It's totally stock except for the radio which is now a CD Player. Hope ya'll like it.

I have a question for you!!!

My uncle has a 1987 Legend Coupe LS as well.. but I noticed something...


#1 - It doesn't have ABS
#2 - It doesn't have the BOSE system.

-It does have the Non-Bose headunit with EQ (like in my 90L Coupe)
-It does have the Computer in the center console

The title as well as badging both say it's an LS. Does yours have those items?

Yah, I have ABS and the Bose system along with computer. Title and badging are LS.

Is it possible that someone took out the Bose system, and replaced it with a non-Bose system? I know that when one of my Bose amps shorted out (my door panel still smells like burning amplifier three years later), replacing the system outright was better than paying the $250 to just replace the Bose amp. Or maybe someone really likes having an equalizer and swapped systems.

This thing. Records Oil/Fuel/Washer Fluid levels, service (oil and major) intervals, has a second trip meter, average and instantaneous fuel economy.

Redsun, great looking g1 - looks very similar to mine (we even have a dent in the same place on the right front fender!).
Im envious of the computer - very 21st century.
I have an L with sunroof, leather, abs, but I would love to have a trip computer.
Will have to wait till I get a g2!.

Thats a very nice and clean G1. I wish the damm G2's came with that computer, it looks real good and like 89LCoupe said, it looks very 21st century. Take good care of that car.

Yep the computer is great. my 90L didn't come with one
Like I said my uncle's 87 came with it, but no ABS or Bose.

89LCoupe, none of the G2s come with computer
I wish they did. I have a 94GS, it would have been a nice touch.
..

And Vince, you need to take more pictures of your G1, like the Inside etc, hardly anyone posts pics of the G1s Automatic Climate control, or the computer, and when they see it, they get impressed really fast

Yeah, what's up with no trip computer on our G2's? My car sold for over $40K new! I would gladly switch the magnetic closing doors for a measly trip computer...
