i did my first mod and i'm so proud.

i made a cai.
it was hard as hell but it was worth it.
first off i did know that honda put in a chamber within the air duct so when i went to go take off that duct.....and it did'nt come off and i looked through and seen that flap...boy was i pissed!
so today i took it off...and pretty impressed.
so what i used was a very THICK and FLEXIBLE duct.
and frabricated a heat shield and used a big ass after market air filter.
i had to remove the battery but that was even better.

so started it up...oh man she growls.
so then i took her for a test drive and was impressed while she sound as though she had balls you can hear a whistling sound....somewhat in between a turbo and a supercharger.

the gains oh man the pick up has increased.

after driving a while i pulled over and took a feel and it was pretty cool.....

now i have a question i wanna upgrade the coil now...a msd or accel coil...
whould this be cool...

Glad you are happy with the CAI. I love the turbo sound you get when you put down. the only thing is it encourages you to do it more often which means you end up speeding just to hear your motor whistle.

Anyway good luck with the Legend, glad you are enjoying it.

yea....
also i fabricated a heat sheild which helps alot.
but after a few hard runs i got out and the pipe was lil' warm.....but its a hell of alot better than stock...because after a few runs with that it's hot as hell.


but i wanna put a msd coil or accel coil on her now......
good idea???

Butt dynos are useless. If you didn't actually get dyno numbers before and after, then your gained no power.

Theoretically, you did...but since you can't quantify it...
