My Legend was hit not too long ago and I'm still hashing out with the other guy's insurance company to get the body work done. The car is still drivable though.

My son has his permit and is itching to get his license and take the Legend. :)

So, I went a bought me a BMW 740iL. I'm not digging the rims too much so I will be getting some new ones next spring. Right now the tires are NOKIAN WR which are great all weather/winter tires. It's got 89K miles, one owner, all service records, manuals keys, and got LOJAK installed on the deal. Also CPOed.

Here's a pic of my Legend, 740, and Murano.

lookin good orlando! I likey
Thanks Alex. Didn't think you cared for BMWs much.

Orlando, nice pick-up. Hope the coupe gets settled soon ... but if you have to ride something else ... niccccccce.
Hey, long time no speak. :) Yea, the big boat is real comfy but I'm dying to get the body on the Legend fixed.

What's kool is that both my kids love both cars. They appreciate them in different ways. I've always been a car guy so I'm training these boys to be the same.

They like the space in the 740 and all the toys but they like the sporty feeling of the Legend too. After they saw Alex running his car at the road course, they got the bug to participate..........when they get older of course.

It was a 740i with a MT. I would drive me one of those in a second.
In the movie, Jason Statham's character Frank Martin specifically identifies the car as a 1999 735iL. In the DVD commentary for the movie, however, Jason Statham indicates that the car was a one-off manual-transmission 1999 7-Series 750iL, with a V12 engine.

Nice 7-series. How was your purchase experience at Bentley Downer's Grove?
Actually it was Luxury Motors at O'hare. That place had nothing but high end vehicles. My 740 was the cheapest car in their inventory at the time.

Service was EXCELLENT.

Thanks guys for the comments. Didn't think the Bimmer would get a warm welcome. :)
