Ok, I got my subs hooked up and my CD player back and it pounds out of control, BUT! I hate that sound of the subs going "Thump thump!" whenever I change a track or cd, what is the deal with that?! And also, when i put certin cds in and play them for a while, all of a sudden I get this thump thump thump thump thump thump thump thump thump! from the subs, its not bass from the music either, it sounds like interference of some sort, I cant stand it. the rapid thumping stays the same even if I turn the music all the way down! Could it be the cd has scratches on it and the subs are picking that up to much. Some CDs sound great but some sound like complete ****. If anyone has any idea what this is let me know, PLEASE! Thanks

Process of elimination, does it do that with all CD's if its only with certain ones and the same ones then its the CD.
If its with all CD's then its one or two things.

1) Its very possible you have a bad burner if these are in fact burnt CD's your listening to.

2) Bad connection somewhere but if it dosen't do that with the radio then I have to say its your CD'S...

Anyother Ideas people?

I agree with Reno on the number 2. Most probably is very very poor/bad connection. Your amp might cutting in and out, so a lot of standing wave producing that sound. Tighten all the connection, and see what happened. And also check your remote turn on lead from your head unit. It might be loose too. Can also be your sub speaker connection is loose too. Check for all loose cable first I would say. It might also be a semi-alive fuse. Check the fuse too.
