By the way, your car has NO performance aftermarket, except for exhaust and intake and other OEM parts.

But as a rule, Type-R and 3.5RL are like water and oil. You'd have better luck with a 'Teg.

 

yea everyone does have a point, I bought my RL to cruise in and to stay away from the tuner crowd whenever I want to! A type R badge is not goin to look good on the RL! Im keepin mine stock, maybe tint, and maybe some 12's, and if dont do the 12's then I might put some 20in Flats on it!!! NO TYPE R..

 

I'm with this guy. I don't really care about driving fast much anymore. I would have got a sports car if I wanted to race/go fast. Good luck with your proj.

Flat out, no disrespect, you can't make the RL anything close to being Type anything. Not R, not S, not M, not AMG or any of that fast shit you see on the road. It's a BAD idea to make your car something it's not, because you get laughed at. By everyone. Now if you can afford to do an NSX swap and pull it off, you can slap all the fucking badges on your car that you want.

But the fact of the matter is you have a C35A rated at 210hp/224lb.ft. of torque....oh yeah and an almost 4000lb car that C35A has to lug around. There is nothing about that that says Type-R. Intake, Exhaust, '02-'04 ECU, Suspension, Wheels, Audio, Tint, Paint and your done. finito. fin. through. kaput. finished.

Even after all of that...the C35A is just a tad bit more powerful than stock...and still not Type-R or any of that shit. It's just a Luxo-Cruiser with some mods.

Only badges that are going to impress people are the badges that came on the car when it rolled out the factory.

definitely. I bought my RL to cruise so that I didn't have to kill my left foot in traffic. Granted I did put my whip on a road course and made some slow drivers in fast cars look silly, its not what the car was meant for. I have also modded my car in a sporty way, but not in a way to drive fast in.

 

How much HP do the badges add, anyway?

Well technically that H badge did come on the RL when it rolled out of the factory (in certain locations) so you're good

 

If I would have said creamy red filling like in an R badge...I'd be in the hot seat
