could it possibly be the throw out bearing??

Here's an interesting problem....
I have a very strange squeak coming from the engine bay
I thought it was a belt, but when i depress the clutch pedal
it goes away.
If anybody knows what this could be, share the wealth!
oh yeah, the squeak also speeds up with the engine speed

My 88 coupe L does the same thing. I was getting ready to take it in for belts too.
