I'm looking into getting some Koni Adjustable Shocks and was wondering what's the cost of the shocks, Front and Rear?
If you have Koni with Ground controls. what settings you have the Shocks on?

Thanks....

Tell me this:

I have a 91 LS sedan with 111k that needs new struts. I dont really want to drop the car but want to improve the ride (currently a little mushy/wallowy, not good on very bumpy roads)Could I get away with just replacing the strust with Konis and see a noticeable improvement in ride/handling? Any other struts you would recommend that may be less expensive than Koni but provide a good solid ride and handling?

I dont think u can improve on the stock ride using Konis. U might get the same stock ride if u use factory settings on the Konis.....

It also depends on how much u "turn" em but thats not my area of expertise.

My ride is a little more rough after i dropped my fronts but i like it that way.... feels more sporty:D

Handling has definitely improved

Okay...but cant you use teh Konis with stock springs, adjust the Koni's to the firm setting and get a little firmer ride than stock?

QUESTION

Anyone know how many turns to adjust the stiffness of your koni shocks, because i am really clueless on how many turns i need in order to adjust the stiffness of the car, can anyone tell me. If so, how many turns in the front and for the rear also.

Exactly what i did

Konis with stock springs

Front Konis on lowest ring & rear Konis on mid (factory) ring

& dont adjust them too firm coz the ride will get really bumpy unless u want it that way

Competition, I love it. I have to say that if he can give you those prices it's well worth it. LegendMs and I will definately have this forum thirsting for more products at low prices. I respect your hard work. Since our prices are comparable, it may be possible to unite our efforts and get a variety of products. I can get good prices on things that he possibly could not.

4 koni's =$420.00
4 springs=$190.00 ===$610.00 s&h $ no more than $30.00

$640.00 final price shipped. A WHOPPING $25.00 difference. Considering his K=$450.00 and E=215.00 = 665.00 shipped..

**Not much, but he knows that it does not get cheaper than that, unless I give them away. So it's up to you. Yes.**

........Remember It's a two person deal if you really want to save $25.00 a person.........

Are the Koni's installed in the picture in you sig? I have the same amount of wheel gap on my coupe ( Same color BTW :D ) and I wanted to run the identical settings.

Are the Koni's as soft as stock if you leave them on their softest setting?

Thanks!
