I went to put my crankshaft pulley back on, and noticed that it didn't clear the notch in the timing belt cover. It had actually dug into it when the yard ran the engine! I looked it over really close, and looked at pics of the 3.5's on here, and I think I have the wrong pulley!! Can anyone tell from these pics?

This car was fine in the front though? You think the yard lied to me?

I was able to easily turn the flywheel by hand, even with the plugs in and timing belt on. Everything felt ok that way. You think thaty maybe it was in a front end and the pully got smashed together?

Can anyone give me a side profile shot of the RL crank pulley? I'm gonna head to White Bear Acura today to see if I can look at one in parts if they have it.

No, they said they had it running the day before I got it. The more I dig into this engine, the more I'm seriously beginning to doubt that. The idler pulley is also jammed. Either I was completely lied to about where this engine came from, or I suppose it's possible the engine tipped over frontside and got beat up a lil bit. Internals all seem ok though.

You can use the Legend throttle body I did, seemed to be too much going on with the RL's TB and I used the TII TB. as for teh pulleys no they are not interchangable to my knowledge I wish they were because I would snag an aluminum one from a site 91TYPII showed me.
