The wifey is acting up and I am going fuggin nuts.....This is going to require a fuggin X-Mas tree to get her off my back so i can concentrate on my million and one projects. I just need to know some tips or easy methods some of you that have purchased a stupid azz tree from those lots on the side of the street and dragged that stinkin azz shedding twig into your household for the next few weeks .... any tips on how to make this an easy CLEAN as move. I am using the SUV (of course not the Legend) and plan on covering the entire back inside with plastic tarp (from all those damn Fl. Hurricanes this year) so the needles ,this damn tree is for surely going to shed ,wont get all over the new SUV. What should I already have..(on my way to buy the stupid water dish tree-holder) for getting a dam tree into my household?

I'd say to go Lowe's or Home Depot and they'll get you all set with a tree.

But seriously, both spots will cut the tree if necessary and wrap it up for you in this net material, or at least they use to. And I think they have some pretty decent prices. I know they were cheaper than the x-mas tree spots on the side of the road up here.

Just make sure to vacuum out the Q after you're done. I'm sure you're gonna have some needles laying around.

....lol.. at least it'll smell pine fresh .. you could wrap it up in a tarp if they wont net it for you.. make sure you bend the branches the right way

you are really in the spirit of christmas aren't you? i take it you are not one of those people who's power bill shoots up 70-80 dollars because of the light display that keeps the neighbors children up all night from your holiday front lawn light display? Lowe's or Home Depot will wrap it up for you and you will get needles in your car but the tarp should catch most of them. FYI buy the stand first and put one of those carpet things around it so the needles do not get all over your carpet and house.

Alrite, here's the deal. I used to sell Christmas Trees and the needles don't fall out that easily when you first buy it, because it is still very fresh and moist. It's when you've displayed it for over 2 weeks then the needles will slightly start to fall. Make sure u don't drag it to ur SUV. You can alwasy wrap it in a huge garbage bag too...yep a tree holder and a water dish is all you need. Saw off the bottom portion at an angle so that the tree will absorb more water, but you probably already know that...

We usually mount it on top of the car...(The Escort or 90 Coupe o course)

Its not difficult, they tie it on the roof...when u get home u cut the rope, carry it in the house doesnt make a big mess....like said above its after its been there for a few weeks that it starts to "Shed" lol.

Keep water in it, and most of all keep that christmas spirit up..Ho Ho Ho..

...We always got real trees for christmas, so it's kind of a "must buy" item around this time of the year. I love em.

Well, however you end up getting the tree home, it won't be worth the hassle to do this for your wife if you are going to complain about it the whole time. Is she going with you? If not...I don't blame you for complaining
