NEW HERE...Legend TYPE II Aftermarket??? I make parts

Hey everyone,

I've owned my 95 Type II Sedan for a few years. I used to read the Legend.org forum all the time, but stopped checking out the forum for a couple of years now. I still have my car with about 122k on it (all freeway) and I'm considering doing some minor upgrades: intake, suspension, rims and exhaust.

Does anyone make an intake that provides true performance for the G2 or will I have to make one?

Also, I own a business that makes a lot of high end upgrades for some of the cars you read about in Super Street , Sport Compact etc..... we design one-off production for high end race cars, exhaust systems, intercooler piping, all types of super duper silicone turbo connectors and clamps.

Anyways, I really didn't want to do any thinking on my car as I do this for my customer's cars all day long. However, if there's not an adequate solution for good quality parts, I will make my own and I'm willing to make just a few extras at a reasonable price for some of the folks on this forum.

FYI: I'm not doing this to make a bunch of money, once I program our machinery, it will be easier to make a few more than just a one off.

Nope, closes one is Weapon-R intake...

I have Weapon-R intake installed. Though I have the cold air box that came with it, I have not installed it yet. (I don't have confidence that the cold air box will deliver much of that low end torque I am looking to get. I drove a 5 cylinder engine S60 volvo and it picks up from zero better thatn my 94 Legend GS.)

Planning on installing a cold air intake: need a bypasss air valve and some plumbing to extend the weapon-r intake. If you are planning to make one, do let me know. I am interested.

Headers? Can you construct headers? I think a machinist or something like you could really help the header development.

Edit - Dv8 also makes downpipes. FYI in his sedan he runs 14.9 NA!

Wow an youde be a GOD send for the legend community. We neend parts, for a person who makes em and owns a Legend. Cool... Well if you want all preformance... Ide say get:

Dinan ECU Chip
Modified Legend specific Coupe Greddy Cat-back exhaust
(to fit the sedan)
CAI (DV8) or Make your own
KMS Throttle Body

Thats all I can think of....

to answer your question...no there aren't many Parts in fact none that give a substantial increase in power YET. the thing that everyone is holding their breath waiting on are the Headers and super charger that are being deeloped as we speak. but they seem a bit of a ways off. maybe well into the summer of next year (ALL ALLEGED).

if you'd like, i know you said you didn't want to do that since you do it all day, help leon with the design or work with him on plumbing for the supercharger he working hard on developing maybe an intercooler.

Also Leon i would to apologize if i offended you in the post about the superchager, as many know that the Super charger is supposed to GIVE AMAZING top end any where from (est figures)

headers are comming a lot sooner than you think.

I provide CAI's and Downpipes. I wouldnt mind a proven pulley system and cams.

B + O, no problem...I am not offended....I would work on it, but I don't think anyone is very serious about doing this anymore, other than DV8, EK and a few others....if so, let's see some dollars.

hey if anyone can make sway bars, put me at the top of the list. I REALLY want/need one! this is the only thing I could ever want on this car (coupe) beside the koni/eibach setup.

I guess there is one more thing I can ask for - polyurethane bushings for the susp. for years I have used them on my other car - one of the best improvements you can make on a cars suspension.

if the sway bar and poly thing is possible, let me know!
