We've been avg 24 degrees this month. Add in a typical 15-20 mpg wind at the shore and it should feel about 5 degrees.

Maybe we should wait till its alittle warmer?

Well I am down put it would have to be done before or after March. The month of March my car will be getting an engine swap and some body work done, as well as interior and system upgrade. As for location Jones beach sounds good they say it is suppose to warm up soon, how about Shea stadium or a local mall. Holla back

Does anyone know if there are regulation for gathering meets?The Stadium might create a problem altho i am very down for that cuz' it's rite next to my house but there are mad cop out there cuz' of the area and also Junk yard but that's an idea to keep in mind but i'll find out if it's ok with local authoities we will most probably do this after March cuz' of the weather,any more car coming with you?

Whoa Calm down, I'm not crapping on your thread, its nice that you have an expressed interest to start a meet, I've been co-ordinating meets with Tri-State Legend owever for a quite some time. There is always interest to form a meet but my suggestion to you is that you are better off planning a meet at leat a month or a few weeks prior to the acutal meet. There are those like me who have their Legends in storage till the spring, so be patient and wait till all this snow is gone and we can have a nice local meet.

 

I too would like to come through after march. I ain't mad at that idea. Local mall? Hmmh, just let me know where and when.

 

Only thing I want to add is that I hope that there will actually be a turn out. Because I'm still farely new to the forum, however I keep hearing about the ny meets tend to lack the support the day of. I would like my 1st meet to be a good one.

well this is a pre-sum-up of the ppl tat so far are interested in attending,looking for maybe around 20-25 cars and we have 14 now ,so hopefully more peeps will show up.The weather seems to be warming up a bit but i think most ppl agree that we have this meet after March so let's have some votes on the dates tats more suitable for most ppl.Please post dates ranges for your own convienece...PS. may not be at everyone's convience but at least we can try to get a date where most ppl can show up!!! :werd:

 

I'll be there too....92LS Coupe AT. Jones Beach would be good. Not too far from anyone in NYC or LI.

 

I used to coordinate a lot of the Northeast meet (2001-2002) it would be great to have a nice turnout, below are pics from a meet that took place in 2001 with about 25 Legends, I think theres probably 5-7 left that still own a Legend...but would be nice to see new faces.
