Supz guys,thanks for being patient and sorry about the delay for the direction,been really busy with work lately,so i finally got a chance to go down to Jones Beach today to find us a spot for the gathering.
The date?? March 21 2004 Sunday
The Time?? 2:00PM Afternoon
The place?? We would be having the meet in Tobay beach
parking lot!!
I've checked out OBI(Oak Beach Inn) today and also Captree State park which is 12.5 Miles from the infamous center traffic circle in Jones Beach,and they seemed a lil far and the parking lot was kinda small compared to Tobay Beach parking lot,Tobay beach parking lot has past WRX meets and also Supra Meets there and the parking lot is HUGE.The tobay Beach parking lot is actually about 4miles east of the infamous traffic circle and very easy to find,i know some of yous are coming from either jersey or CT so i don't want to lose you guys.
This is the plan,I will be probably coming down with a few legends and we will be parking on the center-divider parking(emergency stopping zone)a section they have b4 the M10 exit and the tollbooth on the Meadowbrook Parkway,right b4 you actually get into Jones beach,it's in the middle of the highway(very visible)and we would be parked there around 1:45-2:00PM and wait for most of you to show up so we can roll down to the parking lot in Tobay beach together.
Now i can only list the direction from my way of getting there,but i have links below of where Tobay beach is,so you'll probably have to figure out for yourself as i don't know where all of you will be coming from..............
The direction are pretty simple,
LIE(EB)exit 38->Northern stae parkway(EB)->exit 31A Meadowbrook Parkway(SB)->now stay on the left hand lane all the way and keep your eyes open after Exit M9 and watch on the center divider on your left side and we will be parked there.
now for people who will be late,you can find us at Tobay Beach parking lot(we should be waiting till about 2:30PM at the center divider.
To get to Tobay Beach parking lot:
continue staying on the left hand lane on the Meadowbrook Parkway and you should by-pass the toll booth if you stay on the left side and continue to the traffic circle and bear Right and take the first right (almost as if you were going through the circle without direction change) and continue for about 4 miles and watch for the turn-around and make a U-turn at the turn around and the parking lot should be right there!!!

Now please remember to bring stuff that you may want to either sell or trade and don't forget the cameras,we may also take a drive down to OBI after everyone meets up for a LEGEND RUN!~!
