yo...whassup peoples. i'd like to say that i am happy to be among this , uh, community of Legend drivers.
This is what i'll tell you from the start...my baby is a 95 sedan, pearl white. Within the past month ihad big plans for the lucky lady (since she treats me so well stock), with the proper funds to make it happen. Unfortunately, at the end of March i was involved in a high speed chase with the po-lice. All i can say is i smoked the mother****er until i killed the lights and tried to take about a 90 degree turn from a flat road to uphill. The combination of compete darkness and the road change threw me off. When i turned on the lights, i was headed straight for tree. What!? you thought i let my baby hit a tree...uh uh. I cut the wheel upon quick instinct to a opening between two bushes, although as expected, the small sized rocks f'd my shhh up. Just like everyother Legend owners front end damage...complete new bumper assmbly, left fender repair/blend, new radiatior/ac comp, rad. mount,headlights...you know. But it set me back almost 6k. Luckily no frame damage. Any price to fix this ***** up, she's worth it. I guess I had my flee luck a couple of years ago in my accord. i'll never risk my girl like that again...runnin from those dicks you'll either end up with a wrecked car, in jail, or dead. You only get away once, don't push your luck, ya know? The fives took me into custody, impounded my car, took me to the station, and let me go with a speeding ticket... a 8 pt. one...71 in a 35. Don't know how fast when i took that last turn, but the passin zone before it looked like a solid double yellow. I get my Legend back this week, it takes forever to get JDM headlights.sigh:( I look forward to talkin to yall. uno.

Avarice...i ran out of stupidity. I blew by the cop going about 70, he was on theother side of the road facing the other direction...slight advantage. This was also thesame exact spot where i lost a cop in my accord about 2 years ago, except the road i turned off that time, when i went by it this time i couldn't chance that turn at the speed i was travelling so i kept going. Basically i was in the same exact position as 2 years ago, but in a much quicker car. I was also running off about 3.5 hours of sleep for two days...usually leads to poor judgement. As a matter of fact, right before i went by him, i said to myself "why am i driving so fast, i should slowdown." But no, I can never listen to the good side. grew up in east elmhurst,Queens, moved to westchester, live in yonkers.

there are some other reasons, i'd just rather keep them to myself, ya kniddow? the only other reasons i will share are the fact that i can't afford any more convictions on my liscence ( OH WELL!!!!! TOO LATE FOR THAT NOW...ISN'T IT?) and that the cops around my area never took a liking to me...no, im not a bad person. it's just your surroundings...damn man nevermind...i guess ill just leave now

No, dont leave man.
For real. We arent anal here, we're a good group of guys.

It's just that, cops have so much advantage over you (high speed training, etc) that running from them is useless.

Believe me, I once told myself "if a cop ever chases me, I'll panic and TRY TO RUN", but when it ACTUALLY happened about 2 yrs ago, I didnt do that. I just accepted defeat. Besides, it's just points on a license and higher insurance.... I mean, you "pay for your mistakes" as they say, quite literally in this case. And it sounds like you're a young guy, so cops are always on the lookout for us and that's why young people's insurance is so high.
