The stereo and the interior lights share the same fuse, fuse 57 (20 amp) in the underhood fusebox. The lighter socket also shares this fuse. I've seen loose change stored in the ashtray fall into the lighter socket and blow this fuse on many occasions. You might want to double check that fuse just to be sure.
