Yes it can be done. Take a look at the engine codes. The NSX motor is a a C series engine as well as the Legend. You probably could find a good set of NSX heads on ebay for about $2000 and go from there. If you can swap the entire top end of the NSX motor onto the Legend block, you might even be able to use the Comptech Super Charger. I heard the price on the Comptech SC is going down slightly and you can probably get it for about $8500 or so. Someone alraedy has a level 10 upgraded auto tranny so you can upgrade the trans as well to manage the extra power. Keep in mind that you will have to later the hood to accept the taller NSX heads, but that is minor. You could aways elect to lower the entire engine as well. If this works out, you would have much more header options as well. Comptech headers go for about $1500, and Taitec just released a header system as well for about $1400. DC seems to be the cheapest at about $800. Im not sure, but I think a simply VTEC controller should be able to control the opporation of the VTEC solenoids. All said, I think a top end NSX swap could be done for less than $20K. If you do a full NSX motor swap I think it would be possible for less than $40K. I've seen NSX motors go for less than $10K on ebay. I hope somebody starts this project soon as I really want to see an NSX/Legend motor hybrid. There are a lot of owners on this forums that are dying to get more power and since B and K series engine swaps are common I figure a lot of people would be able to do a C series swap with no problem. For me, I'm not interested as I already have a C30A engine that is unmolested, so I see no need to try and transplant it in a Legend. It simply was cheaper for me to buy the motor with the car attached to it. However, I still would like to see others prove all the haters wrong and put an NSX engine in the Legend. The great part is put one motor in reverse and one in drive and do a nice burnout. Look on the tiburon forums. If he can get the NSX motor in the trunk. WOW! IMAGINE THAT...
Look up how the TIBBY's did it, you'll see its not that hard, except the part where you HACK out your trunk and your gonna loose your back seat, but so what you'll have a LEGEND and NSX motor AWD with tons of power and imagine the mods for the NSX motor.
