Did you get an actual quote on that price? If you can get new mandrel bent piping and installation for $80, that's incredible. I don't think there's a shop near me that would do it for under $200-$250. BTW, I got my magnaflow online, shipped for $135.

What model Magnaflow do you have? How is the sound? And, where did you get it? Thanks.

I have an SS series #14815 muffler. The sound is very smooth and deep at lower RPM's, and breaks apart sounds very mean from about 3500 til redline. I've gotten many compliments on the sound, especially at WOT or higher RPM's. I don't remmebr the exact site I bought it from. I basically just did a search online and shopped a few places until I found the best price. It's much cheaper online than through a retail store. I ordered a magnaflow muffler from a local auto parts store, and ended up not buying it when i found out it was $220. So it doesn't sound like a rice rocket exhaust? Is it still bearable on long trips? Thanks for the info.

check out my video clip... although i am running no main cat and a resonator in place. leaving the cat would keep it queiter than i have it. i have gotten nothing but a good word from it, even from the 302 and ls1 crowd
