So i drove to the mall today, picked up some stuff..

car was driving fine. no heat issues nothing at all! ....

i get back to the car.. noticed a little pool of green fluid.. im like holy jebus.... this cannot be!. so i opened the hood.. poof. a little bit of smoke fromt the engine under the manifold.. i think it was coming from the thermostat not too sure... maybe i have a leak in my lower rad hose? i dont know.. there was no line following my car to where i parked .. so it only started to leak when i stopped.. so i got more antifreeze and poured it in.. only a little bit was missing, nothing to cause any trouble... and i drove back home.. there was no leaking what so ever on the way home.. i just parked it and we'll wait and see what happens..

the temp was reading normal... when i stop it raised just a tad tad.. nothing crazy.. and when i started going again it fell to normal..

what can be the problem?

Sounds like a leak in the pressure side of the cooling system. Check all your hoses, check the radiator carefully, and try to check as best you can in the gaggle of metal around the intake manifold.
