Window problem
I just bought a 92 Legend, 2dr, 5 sp. Love it. After pulling off the lot I found that the drivers window doesn't open. In searching this site I found the repair involving the foil put in place of the on/off switch. Is that what I need? All of the other windows function fine. I had thought about switching the drivers window wires and sacrificing one of the rear windows. Is that feasable?
Also what is the best way to open/remove the door panel to gain access?

Hey. Fixing the on/off button will not solve the problem. You can A: attempt to open up the master window switch and fix the problem. or B: Buy one off ebay (80-120 bucks).

If you plan to open it up... there is a metal to metal clip not making contact with each other (thus the window does not operate).
I'd suggest you purshase another one from ebay.

To remove the door panel, use the SEARCH feature or pick up a Chilton handbook. It's not complicated.
