Whats up everyone,

I was changing over to Goodridge stainless steel brake lines and Earl's solo bleed screws today (yesterday and the day before, took awhile because it was cold as hell out). I finally got to the right front wheel when I noticed an orange bushing or o-ring hanging out under the shock boot. Does anyone have an idea of what part of the shock this is originally supposed to be located? Seems to be made od a foam-like material. Thanks in advance for the help.

That is what is left of your bump stop. You're lucky there was anything left on yours, when I did my suspension I was left with a little orange pile of dust

Yea, I also saw the orange dust. That might explain the slight grinding noise when I make left turns? I assume that is happening when the car is dipping to that side. When I bought the car car a while back the dealer said that the left front shock was replaced. the right side must be worn pretty good where I found what is left of the bumpstop.

Is this part of the shock mount? Thanks for the response.
