hey what up homiez,
i wanna paint my calipers, i just dont know wat color to paint them my interior is blue and the car is new paint black (this week)with dark tints, i was thinking of painting it dark blue? what do u guys think? let me know

Good idea, in order to keep with the color scheme, but the only problem is it's too dark. You will notice but many others won't. I have had my calipers painted silver and rosewood brown, but they were NEVER noticed. Once I painted them royal blue, eveybody was like..."Yo, did you get new brakes, they tight?" That made me realize all the work I did before was useless. Unless people notice your caliper paint, don't bother. Just make sure you use at least 1200 degree paint (engine paint) to withstand the severe heat your calipers endure. Holla!!!

WHERE DID U GET UR PAINT FROM? AND HOW MUCH? yeah i gotta make it stand out i got drilled rotors i dont knwo wat name brand it came with the car when i baught i tfrom some guy

actually, 500 degree engine paint is very sufficient already = )

Most brake pads fads would be useless (fade) at 500 degrees, and even DOT 5.1 brake fluids only have around 525 degree dry boiling point. Therefore, 500 degree is enough. Of course 1200 would be even better, just that there are less colors available:cool:
