I finally got my car with all of its panels back on, first time really since the beginning of our second semester in school :). Anyways, here are some of the nice pics that I just took. Figured it would be good since we are having such a nice day here in Seattle.

Also, I have high res ones that could go in the calendar if you guys would like. If you guys are really interested in having my car in the calendar (I don't know if all the pics have been picked), I could wax my car and go down and take some really nice pictures out on lakewashington with the seattle skyline in the backround.

Here is me with my car the day I got it for comparison (sorry the quality isn't as good, If I remember right it was getting pretty late out, and my old olympus camera wasn't nearly as good as my new Nikon):

I just bought the paint through my school and I got a discount. I paid a total of $275 on it, but I bought tons of extra paint incase I ever need some more. The paint required for this was probably around $75 (just guessing). I painted it myself, and everything so no labor fees.

Thanks you guys, I'm trying to decide though whether or not to put the mudflaps back on. I can't decide if it would take away from the look that I just went for. I didn't want to paint the mudflaps though in fear that they would chip from rocks flying up at 'em. Plus I wanted it to look OEM and Acura never painted 'em.

Sweet looking ride, Speeddemon.

Any pointers on how to paint the car? How did you do it?

Also I'm looking to get some paint that matches my car, where can I go to get that match? Thanks!

I guess I probably did 5 light coats of base, 1 light coat of mid, and 3 coats of clear.

I got the paint through my school from whoever our supplier is. I used DuPont. Just look inside your door for the color code, and then go to some automotive paint place and check out the color code under acura and see what the dupont code is for your color. Then get the production date of your car from the inside of the door. The guys at the paint place should be able to tell you everything that you need.

you could get a set of mud flaps from the junkyard and paint them. Are u planning on getting foglamps? I think the car looks tight with the opening. wonder if I could put mesh behind it.
Getting the mudflaps isn't a problem, they came with the car. I have them sitting in my room, just not sure if I want to put them back on or not. Yeah, I'm gonna get foglights, but that's way down the road. I still have a bunch of show and go mods that are going to come first, fogs will be one of my finishing touches like once I have good paint, good leather, new floormats, etc. Go to www.inexpro.com/legend_temple and check out Mark Yuen's '95 milano red coupe; he got mesh in all the places up front.

SpeedDemon, excellent job!! I'm jealous. I have a pearl white coupe that I'm dying to do what you've done with the painted skirts and all. Did you primmer the moldings first?

Can you tell us step by step how you did it, (Matt you need to put a how-to section on the forums buddy) I ask because my wife saw a white sedan done this way and she has to have it done to ours she loved the look it made the car look much newer. If I can also do it myself and save a G or so I will, I have a garage.
