Hello. I have a 95 Coupe with a manual passenger seat. The seat has trouble locking and staying in place. Once, my friend damn near flew out the window! Anyway to solve this problem?
I would either pull the seat out and make sure nothing is binding up underneath, you may be able to grease the lever and everything involved with the track.
No, the track has a lock on each side that will hold the seat in place. i've seen a few of them get a little rusty, and they don't fall down into the locking position. Greasing these will allow the locks to slide into place. Once you remove the seat and turn it upside down, you'll see what I'm talking about if you play with the seat lever. This is a manual seat, and not power correct?
yea mine does the same thing. it only locks when you push the seat all the way back, then you can adjust it to the proper setting. but if you dont push it all the way back first, itll stay loose. also looking to fix this but i got bigger problems right now. this one will have to wait
