I'm having trouble changing my rear plate lamps, does anyone know the procedure?

THE BULBS ARE NOT ACCESIBLE, I HAVE TRIED UNSCREWING THE HOUSING AND THERE STILL IS NOT ENOUGH ROOM TO UNSCREW THE BULB.

Wear gloves or put something over your hands so that rust bits and fiberglass don't cut your hands up.

Try looking at a diagram of how the bulbs are facing. Unless you have massively huge hands and/or arthiritis, they should be easily accessible. You can even crouch down with a flashlight and look up into the bumper to take a look (wear something to protect your eyes though; there is often a lot of rust crumbs/dust/dirt up there).

If you are still having bad luck, ask someone with smaller hands to do it for you. Reach up and in with your fingers, grasp the bulb at it's base (where the wires meet) and twist and pull down.

1. pull bumper
2 rip out bulb assembly
3 install CCFL
4 reinstall bumper
5 become epicly badass

Hmmm, not sure how you would change the light bulbs without removing the whole assembly. At least in the lights assembly I have for sale (pic) it doesn't look like the bulb cover will come out without removing it from the bracket? Look in the online manual page 23-226, it says to remove the 4 screws holding the light assembly in, remove assembly and then replace light bulbs.

This is sooooo easy! Do you see where the wires attach to the back of the assembly in the pic. where the wires meet is rubber. It just pops out from the plastic mount. just look up by the top of your licens plate, feel where the wires go into the rubber peice, twist and pull out. Iv'e done it a hundred times.

Yes, the rubber part (where the wires go in) comes out. Twist it counterclockwise a half turn and the whole thing loosens. Just pull that out and down and you can easily change the bulb. Reach back into the bumper and slip it into the light cover, twisting it clockwise to re-tighten it. Done.
