Don't really know where to mount the ballasts under my hood. Do you actually drill into the car, and where? My system uses ballasts only no ignitors. What is an ignitor? Anybody?

I just left mine in an area with no liquids, turning belts, etc...You probably have a Philips or Hella Ballast. If so, the ignitor is built into the ballast....Good luck.

I mounted them on the high beam covers.... just used double sided tape.

well since we're on the subject of HID installation.

I just realized that the harness that connects to the headlight bulbs sits inside the headlight housing. I need to connect that harness to my ballast, is there a way to pull that headlight harness out of the housing? Thanks
