Yesterday I ported and Polished my friends throttle body and upper intake manifold the one with the pony on the 4.6
NE WAYZ how hard is it to take off out intake manifold, he gained mad power, if he can hook he'll run a 14.2, I also did a lil somethin somethin and I keep up, I am about 15.0/15.1 now. My modd wasnt over $25 and the system is still in the back...Only one 15" the other I blew and they were two boxes so I did take about 15lbs out.

Wow, so you can port and polish? Did you use any kind of REAL METRIC TOOL TO MEASURE THIS??? I'm sure that you're pretty good at judging ET's to the 10th of a second?

My Legend is fast also... I use "Mad Propz" synthetic and "PhAt RiDE" brand gear box fluid... My Honda's the shiznit... get out the visors sucka!! Flip them b*tches upside down and backwards, yo!

Sorry, this was just too good...

Was this your first time? Did you take pictures? How did you do it?

im p+p ing my **** right now too!! gotta hurry cuz i have work at 5, plus i still gotta run to Home Depot to get some extra 2000 grit sandpaper. BTW, does any1 have some extra turtle wax??? i cant find the polist right now...

DV8 Im asking

Hey, I posted it b/c I want to know hoe hard it is to take off OUR intake manifold? I want to P&P mine so I can easily hit my 14.9 or whateva.

It's a royal pain in the ass. You will have to disconnect many vaccuum hoses and unplug a lot of connectors. There are quite a few bolts as well. Also note that you will have to replace all the gaskets between the Intake manifold and the heads. If you dissassemble the IM you will have to replace all the gaskets internal to it as well. The complete HG and other gasket kit runs $350 for our cars. Also note that you will have to drain the antifreeze.
