i think it may not be a problem at all, but after i take my car into 5000+, the idling at a stop becomes louder. the engine 'aches' a bit and i begin to see the mirrors (sides and rearview) begin vibrating.

i have already replaced the plugs, cap, and rotor so that the idle rumbling does not take place at post low rpm stops.

is this a problem or am i just too worried about my baby?

Have you tried fuel injector cleaner (supposedly BG44k is the best), cleaning throttle body, or skip those and do a carbon cleaning at a dealer (may or may not be an Acura dealer) or other shop. I know Motorvac and BG have such methods.

Try spraying the intake with cleaner... If it's the sound I get, it sounds like the butterflies in the intake closing slowly...

Good luck...
