I can't say that I noticed a difference - but i will say that doing a flush will probably help.

I know that chemical properties of the old fluid I had in the reservior made it appear Nasty compared to HONDA power steering fluid out the bottle.

Happened that a leak developed in the return hose near the block, so I replaced the hose - and vacuumed out the old fluid and filled with new stuff x2.

Get underneath the vehicle and trace the source of the 3 hoses that connect to the power steering reservior.

See if you can identify one hose or area that has fluid build up (dirt + fluid) and be sure to check the hose area around the clamps. Move the hoses around.

Now, bare in mind that I was able to identify the source of my leak visually(because of the build up) but I didn't see a leak. It wasn't until I moved one of the hoses that connects to the power steering pump that I saw fluid come out of a pin sized hole.

I am thinking about changing my power steering fluid because it seems as if the steering on the car has gotten harder. Is it possilbe that this is a result of the steering fluid going bad or could there be another cause for this?
