You guys were a great help in my speaker search and I settled on Infinity Kappas and an amp to power them.

My desire to not have my trunk rattle, and completely consumed, has led me to powered subs. I seen several that install underneath the seat (8") and others that occupy a modest amount of trunk space.

Have any of you had any experience with these type of subs? Are they any good, or will my coaxials give me the same amount of lows that these will.

Good looking out in advanced,

Ah those lil subs, my neighbor has one in her Scion juice box lol. They hit pretty good if you have a amp that gives out good wattage.

I use to have a 8" Powered Bazooka Tube Subwoofer in my 89 coupe when i was in Highschool. It didn't get really loud on the outside of the car, but for what i paid for it, that little thing put out some good clean hard hitting bass.

You can find one cheaper than what is advertised there, but that will give you an idea of what they've got.
