Why are you trying to put Prelude struts on your car?
There are several applications for the LEgend....many options - http://www.shox.com is one option, http://www.NOPI.com is another.

Go for one of these -

Koni Struts/H & R Springs - 1.5" drop
" /Eibach Springs - 1.1/1.0" drop
" /Ground Control - Stock - 3.0" drop (adjustable coilovers)

Koni struts are adjustable from firm to soft.....hope this helps

Prelude strut bars do work in a legend with some bending. 97 prelude strut bar with the bar being bent in the middle and one of the brackets have to be bent to extend for the length of the car. From what I have read it is not too hard to do.

GOOD LUCK

Ok
Bar = OBX 1997 Prelude Strut Bar

Brackets - On each end of the bar there is a "bracket" or clamp that must go around the 3 bolts that you can see in your engine bay that has the strut bolt in the middle. (one on each side of engine bay right above wheel) You first bolt down one side and then you are going to have to bend that bracket side enough to get the other side to go around the 3 bolts and then tighten it down.

Bar - The bar itself will now touch the top of the manifold. So before you bend the brackets you would probably be better off trying to bend the middle of the bar just a little to clear the manifold.

I believe this trend will help you out, has all the pics I think you need.

GOOD LUCK
