check ur fuses and grounds and make sure all of the wiring are good
is the engine cranking or does nothing happen at all when you turn the key to start?
Any unusual tempeture change outiside? does this happen when the car has been sitting a while or while its hot too? any lights dim when you try to start it?

try playing with the shifter or try it in neutral.
also try wiggling the key around or turning it VERY slowly
ok it does it all the time no the motor doesnt crank i have checked all the fuses it is a 5 speed i usally just push start it
alright, so it does push start no matter what right? any clutch/shifting problems at all?
i dont know too much about clutches but im thinking it has somthing to do with it, maybe your starter doesnt think you have the clutch engaged all the way?

U'r intermittent or recurring starting problem could be a faulty or bad main relay sprayin88ac... over time them solder connection(s) can crack, this is one of the main cause of u'r problem and yes it has been addressed in the past, just do a search, I'm pretty sure u'll find the answer u'r looking for... good luck ;)
i was thinkin main relay. and no problems shifting, and you dont have psh the clutch to start, that bypassed because of the swap
well you hear the whirring sound from the pump kicking on and your sure the starter is enagible still because the swap and the starter is good then i guess check for power along the wires to the starter into you find a loose connection or somthin, you got a gauge to test them?

I guess you can do this, but make sure its safe first! just run a positive and a ground to your starter while its in neutal and if it starts that way just throw a push button starter in, that would be cheap, easy, and the first time a push button starter is used for a good reason.

Ive though about doing some thing along the lines of this for my legend since somtimes i park in some bad areas down town. It would be cool to run a relay switch between your key ignition power wire through a relay switch, so you could make a break in the wire if you were parking in a bad area or somthing, or either make it run from a sensor or coil, or anything that will make your car not start to make it even harder to steal. just run the switch under your seat or somewhere not obvious.

if they are a pro they might be able to get past your alarm, but i doubt they would take the time to figure out whats keeping it from starting after they try the usual things. but anyway, i doubt a professional would take a g1 legend lol.

If you really twisted you could run a switch to turn power on and off from your ignition coil into the gas tank and blow everything up lol. you my accidently kill yourself doing that one though

cigarette i think i will check the main relay if thats not it i think i will put the push button start in there i was thinkin about it and no im not that twisted and when i get my pics on here of the legend interior and exterior you might think twice the pros will be after my stuff but you made me laugh with that last one thanx for responding
i was under the influence the main relay stops fuel flow, therefore it doesnt run but doesnt stop the car from cranking right? anyone correct me if im wrong.
