Well. I finally got her up and running. I originally bought it with a BHG, sight unseen. I was in class when I saw the ad on CL and called my brother to go and pick it up no matter what kind of condition it was in. It was so cheap that it would still have been worth it if it needed a new engine!:) Only 158k on the odo. She owned it for two years, and gave me every receipt she had for it, including oil changes. It added up to 5,400$ in just two years! The only other problem it had was the rear pass. door. It was dented in pretty bad, so I changed it with one that i had from my donor legend that I was parting out. It looks pretty good now except for another dent and the Honda Cancer.

Anyways, it was in the shop for 2 and a half weeks! My mechanic was really busy and took for ever to fix it. I finally got her back the other day, only to realize that the tow truck driver bent my rear control arm B. I can't drive her, so I washed her yesterday and put on the sunroof visor, nose mask, and tail light red out film. Thanks to Ari, I'm getting new control arms hopefully by the middle of the week. Then I can get her on the highway and see what she can do!

Future Plans:
-35% Tint all the way around Done!
-2 JL Subs + Amp
-Ashtray iPod Dock DIY
-Sunroof Tilt DIY
-Viper Remote Start/Keyless Entry Done!
-New Bose Head Unit (2100) Done!
-Iggees
-A-L Stickers Done!

I want to maintain the stock look while making subtle changes :)

Any who, here are a few pics for you guys, including before/after the tail light film. There aren't too many interior pics since it still needs a good cleaning. The previous owner was a smoker so needless to say, its pretty nasty.

That's a hot GS man!!! I like the red out film you put on the taillights. I bought some transparent paint from a hobby shop online but I haven't painted them yet. Remember me, I'm the dude that bought the quarter panel and rear bumper from you. I put it on already. Check it out. Just click on the link in my signature. Drop me a line or two in my g book so I can save you as a friend.

Daaaaaamn, i just took a look at the pics and it looks like it came out really well. Honestly I didn't know how you were going to do it!

Anyways, don't go and paint the tail lights. Go on ebay and you can get the red out film (its like a sticker) for 15 bucks. Its a lot easier and you will get awsome results. Theres a bunch of guys on here that can vouch for the film; from what i heard it was durable and nobody had any problems with it peeling off. It was also really easy to put on..

Oh, and i remember you mentioned that one of your tail lights was causing your brake light to come on? I have a tail light that is slightly cracked; if you want it for parts you can come get it for 15 bucks whenever you're in the area. Hopefully you can use the parts for yours?
Yeah I figured the film would be better. I'mma go ahead and get some cuz I really don't feel like dealing with painting them. Yours look really good though. Oh yeah, save that taillight for me. I'll stop by the next time I'm in the area. It might be this weekend. I'll give you a call.

It took me all day to put the quarter panel and bumper on. Then it started raining so I had to wait til the following weekend to bondo it and sand it. I still have to sand it a little more, but you can't really tell from the pictures. I'm getting it painted next month.
Is the paint original? still shine like day light. Props to you red out those tail lights and congrates for a great pick up that hot GS.
thanks Ptan

Yes, the paint is original according to carfax and i couldnt see any problems with overspray or anything like that. The previous owner washed and waxed it on the outside before selling it to me. I only wish he babied it as much on the insid :(

I steam cleaned my carpet yesterday and was a little dissapointed at the results. I guess thats what i get for getting it so cheap :)
bump for update:)
wow, $600 for labor? kinda jealous....sweet ride though.
Bump for update :)
