other than tinting the windows and applying lexol or other leather conditioners to keep the leather supple, what can be done about the cracked lines starting to form in the leather. i saw some kind of tape out there that covers the lines and prevents it from cracking, but does anyone have any tips or suggestions on preserving the leather? and what does everyone use and how often? how to clean and polish these seats to make them last as long as possible? thanks

I like lexol and to be safe do it about once a month, even though I don't do it that much.

if the leather is dried out and turned hard becuase of that, is there anyway to soften it back up? this is happening in my moms beemer and my dads lexus(damn, it sounds like were so rich when i say that, but both cars are older)
