Hey guys, I did the 9005-9006 conversion, and so far it looks really good, the only question I have is how many watts are 9005 bulbs and will they fry my 9006 harness?? I bought GE bulbs, they are just something you buy off the self at walmart. thanks guys

9005 is a standard 65W, unless you bought some of those high wattage bulbs. The wiring for the 9006 is the same gauge as for the 9005, so there will be no problems.

Thanks Chris K, ya I just bought the standard ones, blue vision or something? it didnt say the wattage on it, do you think thats gonna be ok?

It sould be okay. If you bought if from a regular automotive store, than it probabaly is a standard wattage. If you bought them off ebay or speed performance shop, then I can't say what the wattage might be. If it is the Phillips BlueVsions, then it sould be okay.

If they are the Sylvania Cool Blue's get rid of 'em. I had a friend who had those and they are so much less bright than a regular halogen and plus they don't even look blue or white. Look like a darker halogen bulb (who wants that?!?!). A good bulb to get if that is what you have is the Sylvania Silverstar, they aren't very expensive and are very bright and white for a halogen.
