Guys, I do hope that this is not a stupid question, please bare in mind that I am a new Legend owner…
Here are some questions that I have…

1) How many Spark Plugs does the Legend Have “93’ LS Sedan”
2) Am I able to change them myself without any problems? If so, how long does it take to break them in if need be?
3) What are a good pair and nice looking pair of all weather tires?
4) Is there a place where I can go to make sure that my air bags are fully functional?
5) Is it safe to steam clean the engine?
6) Does any one know of a place that specializes in some what high end products for a Legend in or near NYC?
7) Is there anyone from NYC that is willing to take some time to hang out and show me what they have done to their Legend and show me the upgrades that I can make for mine?

Thanks guys…

If you do a search there is a wonderful thread called Newbie FAQ that will answer most of your questions. However, since you are a fellow city dweller, I will answer what i can.

1. 6
2. Evidently it is quite easy - do a search there is a Do it yourself
3. Not sure, I like the Firestones, which I have on now
4. That i am not sure, other than say the dealer
5. I wouldnt think it should be a problem - many do it - make sure it's done right
6. As far as I understand, there are no or very little aftermarket products specifically for the Legend, however, guys here have adapted products to fit. We have a lot of custom shops here, I guess you can find it.
7. I would like to, even with other legend owners, but I have little time to spend on my own so I am of no use - however, there is a guy that comes on here call Harlemlegends who is part of a crew. There are a bunch of guys here from NYC that I am sure would like to help.

Peace and good blessings with the car.

queens member here, for me since were in nyc, and have a stop light every 100ft, extreme performance is not necessary unless your a import/speed fanatic. plus your car becomes a daily target for car thieves which is known in the metro area. but if you must, theres a few performance shops over in queens who would def. be able to get you some products.. (tantrum racing, claws,RPMnyc, redline, eastern <not sure if easterns still in business) theres plenty of em but those are the few i usually go to for my honda/acura stuff...

You know, I have been seeing this place on Liberty by the LIRR Facility in Jamaica that always has Legend, Honda and other cars there in various states of customality, however, I get the feeling it's more of a chop shop than a performance place - but hey you never know. Maybe it's one in the same. Maybe one of the Bronx members can post and tell him about shops up his way. Peace.

PS: Yeah, I see guys zooming from light to light to light to stop sign to stop sign to light to dead end to dead end to traffic to traffic to light. :giggle: Really doesnt make much since having high performance in the boros as a daily driver (it's okay, if you track it or drag strip it) - now on long island, those dudes are crazy with it. Way more open space, but Nassau and Suffolk PD is way more hard on them than NYPD is on us.

That's a good list. I check out the guys at RPM sometimes. I went to Eastern once but wasn't impressed.
