ok i just bought some rotors local and i told them for a 95 GS and they said they had 2 in stock so i bought them but on the slip it dosent say GS on it how can i tell but looking if they are the GS rotors??
You just compare them to your old rotors. Type I and Type II rotors look identical at first glance, but you'll find that Type II rotors are about 5mm thicker ~ so just compare what you got to what you had on your car previous.
Type I rotors WILL work with Type II brakes, however since the rotor is thinner the caliper pistons may overextend when the brake pads approach the end of their service life.
