TL stereo in legend? couldnt find answer

Has anyone tired installing a 1st generation Tl head unit into a legend, i know the plugs are all the same even has to plugs for the steering wheel controls, and my moms legend who I want to do this for is the 92 L model sedan so it doesnt have a amp so that wont be a problem Just curious if anyone has done this or with any other honda/acura stereos with cd players in the head unit themselves tried searching all I found was the same questions just never answered

Anyone I couldnt find anything in the search I tried
if anyone has any info about it my mom hates not having a cd player up front but she wouldnt like a what she would say "gawdy" cd player I saw a 1st gen online the guy says it will work but its ebay...
