Okay, so I've never heard my fans go on before when I step out of my car. But today, and yesterday the fans will go ON after I shut off the car. Normally, I wouldn't be concerned. However, let's say I go out right now, I'll turn on the car, and neither fan will be on (unless I turn on the AC)...but if I turn the car off, they will go on. If the car is warm enough for the fans to turn on when the car is off.. then shouldn't they also be on when the car is on?

Or is that just the way the system works?
The first time I noticed this was last night and today, both days were in excess of 90F temp. The actual temp needle in the car, is always a little below the halfway mark, never seen it go any higher. Water/AntiFreeze seems fine in resevoir, going to flush it anyways...

Thanks

It is normal, don't worry about it. If the engine temperature is high enough, the fan will turn on. If you use AC, another separate AC only fan will be on like you mentioned. So, take it easy, you're just too paranoid with your baby! hehehhehe............ :D :D :D

Yeah, I got lost last night in good ol San Gabriel, tons of stop n go. That's when I started to feel the slight "thump" in the brake pedal... and when I got off I heard the fans go on. Both fans turn on when I leave the car, I think it's just the hot weather lately. I did a radiator flush just in case as well.

This is what I need to repair (lol):

-Vehicle Speed Sensor
-CV Boots (One is torn, just noticed)
-Front Disc Need Turning/Leveling
-Rear Brake Pads
-ATF Flush (I don't think HondaATF is in there right now)
-Air Filter (I'm thinking of just getting a Weapon-R)
-I seem to be leaking PSF from somewhere, very little, but still... it's leaking

And the weird thump on the pedal which I haven't figured out yet :)
