On my way home, I got into the racing mood and drove the car hard, but once I got home I sat in the car for a little while in front of my house talking to a buddy, when I notice that the temp needle was almost in the red. Later on I noticed I had a crack on the top of my radiator:eek: Now after doing a search on rad, I worried about HG failure but I am thinking that with 74k miles that I should be ok, or at least I hope. Were can I get a good rad at a good price, I wanna get this fixed as soon as possible, and do you think I should even drive the car while it is like this?
Thanks for any information!!!!

Don't drive it until you have it changed! It could lead to HG failure if you don't take care of it right away. I just changed mine after some spirited driving a few weeks ago. Give www.radiator.com a try. I got mine thru them since they offer LIFETIME warranty on their radiator. Hope this helps.... ;)

In agree. The failing radiator does not in itself cause the HG failure down the road, but failure to take care of it right away can. I would get it done ASAP and noy drive the car. If you don't live too far from teh dealer, or wherever you get it fixed, you can probably drive it there, but that is up to you. My 95 went out on a Saturday, I took it in on a Monday and everything is fine 25K later. I drove it about 15 miles to the dealer. I went to the dealer since I had warrenty left on my car yet.

I called the dealer to check prices on the radiator just to compare it to other prices and the dealer said it would be about $700:eek: I think I will pass on that price, I think I will do radiator.com
Thanks for the info everyone;)

I check out ebay and found a radiator for $122, and the company auction it was Radiator.com, but on ebay it was cheaper then on radiator.com website, I think for the type of radiator I got, radiator.com was charging $169 at their website, but though ebay I got it cheaper, so I feel good about the deal :D
