Well, I know I said I'd fly out there if I had to before, but that's the weekend right before finals. So, no and no.

 

I have been saying all along that I'm there. However, I am suffering right this moment from a bit of sticker shock after calculating my costs. Flying in and hoping for someone to chauffeur me around might be an option, but driving to and from is half the fun. I'll have to get back to you. Either way, I WILL NOT be running on the track.

Ok, small update here...

Just found out that I will be in LAS for the Acura Fixed Operations Conference beginning May 13the (the following Sunday!)....doh! Back to back weekends in Vegas!

I will be attending NALM for sure but Dont know If I will be in the track though! ..my car is too whack right now...need interior and paint at least before I attend. lol

 

Interior here....hoping to get my new coupe seats before the meet.....even though I have a sedan I prefer the look of the coupe seats more...and seeing as I rip on the corners I need to stay planted better

 

I am down like i said and can't wait!

 

So right now there's 11 people attending NALM with 5 of those planning on racing and 4 maybes. I guess we can keep this thread at the top until New Years and then start working on hotels...

 

is the plan to stay on the strip?

i'm going to vegas with my rents in jan, my parents go like 3-4times a year, they found that the stratosphere (sp?) has good rates.

 

I'm thinking that once we get a good head count, I'll just start calling every hotel on the strip/downtown and then work my way towards Pahrump (where the track it) to find the best deals. I also gotta get Dali Racing a head count and make sure we can tag along with his NSX day...

 

It's going to be a game time decision for me because of my travels. If I do come, I will not drive for sure. I hate drving past 5-6 hrs, I'll meet yall up via air. :turban:

 

I'll let you pilot a session in my ride if you want.....as long as you don't pull the e-brake like last year!
