^^ very true. My car isnt even close to par with others here and all the bad drivers in chicagoland were driving me insane. But once and while ya just gotta cruise the open highway.

Ps- Legendtoo's old coupe made the chicago meets and there was few scares but none the less it was beautiful to see it on the road.

When is the last day for us to post whether we're sure to track our cars or not? Also what're the logistics behind the track event? Can we just show up that day if we are not 100% sure [as of now] and then pay at the door? I'm very interested in the track event but can't list myself as sure to attend it.

The track is a Dali Racing event and most of his events fill up quickly. He hasn't sent out notification of this particular event, but it usually comes out about a month prior, so we need to be ready with solid numbers (and $$$) by Mid-April at the latest. There are 40 spots available, and he offers them to NSX's first since that is what his company is built around. I've already given him the heads up that we will probably take between 5 and 10 of those 40 spots for that Saturday.

As far as showing up that day with cash in hand and trying to get on...you'll just have to roll the dice (vegas ) and see if there's a spot open. I'll ask Mark at Dali how that works as we get closer to the deadline.

NALM (National Acura Legend Meet) in Vegas May 4th through May 6th is a good possibilty for us. Dali Racing has a track day scheduled for May 5th at Spring Mountain (www.springmountainmotorsports.com) which is limited to 40 cars. It's geared towards the NSX guys, but anyone can attend. The cost is $160.00 per car for seven 30 minute sessions.

What I need to know is how many of you are seriously considering attending the 07 meet, and how many of those attending will want to experience a true track day?

I'd like to get a tenative head count so we can start exploring hotel options and pricing. I think we need to have a solid plan in place by the first of the year to give people 4 solid months to plan/save/askfortimeoffatwork/etc.

Post up with a yes or no if you plan on attending, and another yes/no if you're interested in track time.

Note - we'll plan most of the time around what attendees want to do, just the track time we really need to get a jump on early.

I'll start the list in this post, and update it as people reply.

We have a pretty good lead on pricing off the strip, but I'll call you if that falls through. Most places on the strip aren't too willing to let a bunch of guys wash their cars in the parking garage! :lol:

If you guys wouldn't mind a former Legend owner coming I would love to make it this year. I would be thrilled to see some of the cars I have been drooling over for the past few years. This meet looks like it is going to top the previous ones by far. I would have to skip the track as I don't want to ruin the grocery getter.

As it sits now I have to be at a Conference in Atlanta on 5/2 - 5/4, so driving is out of the question, but I can hop on a flight to Vegas from there to be at the meet on time. I will have to settle on a rental, so maybe the track won't be out of the question... J/K

Hertz has the Shelby 350 GTH for rent...I got one in LA for 99 bux a day...that might be fun on the track
