Rear Seat Removal

1593 Views 5 Replies 3 Participants Last post by  502 MotorSports
I want to remove the amp in my LS and I was wondering how to remove the rear seat. Do I have to take off the seat bottom also? If so, how do I do that? I took off the headrests and the two 10mm bolts but what else do I need to take off and where? Thanks in advance.

fyi...real quick

On the bottom of the seat...
You need to pull the two tabs on either side, while lifting up on the seat bottom. Once it has cleared these two tabs, pull up and out. You are trying to get the two tabs that mate up to the seat back out now. From there, there are 4 bolts that hold the seatback down. I think they are 10mm. Once these are done, push upwards and you will feel the seat coming out of the grooves

Leon, I assume those are instructions for the coupe right?

Cuz there are 2 more 10mm bolts to remove, 1 behind the each rear head rests. You'll need to remove the head rest and there should be a split in the leather, and the bolt is right behind it.
