I have a 89 legend ls sedan and the rear bose speaker farts sometimes or just goes out, how can i remove the grill to get to the speaker? And what could be the problem?

sounds like the speaker is blown. As for how to remove it, I haven't dealt with the G1 even though my family has one (we have 2 G2s - mine and my fathers, and a G1).
I'm pretty sure someone with more experience with G1s will post some instructions for you....

Im not sure about the bose stereo, because I dont have it in my G1, but if its anything like the regular stereo you will have 3 bolts inside the trunk directly under the speakers, remove those and the speaker will just lift out. Now again, im not 100% sure about this because like I said I dont have the bose, but I thought I would give you somehwere to start. I do know that it is a hassle to replace anyhing bose in these cars, the bose stereo seems to be more trouble than its worth, good luck man.
