Sounds like you need to pull the speaker out and take a look. As for a new speaker, its been a while but Bose was still supplying them for only about $40 each.
Rear Speaker Problem 94 L
Rear speaker wil not work unless I press one side down slightly. Does anyone have a quick fix or buy a new one form bose. When I press one side down lightly, just a smidge, the speaker works fine......loose coil? solder something? Any assistance will be great.
