i got my sedan vinyl and put it on a week ago. no pix atm, but just thought i'd say the color match is really good and my friends didnt even notice anything until i pointed it out. :) it looks good, i'm glad i got it.
Oh, just thought i'd mention that you can kinda see the edge of the plastic if your head is about 2 feet away. but who's ever 2 feet from your taillights? its not noticable unless you're looking for it, if you're anal about every single detail then this might be important to you.

I got my set, but haven't put it on yet...been out of town...can anyone give install pointers? Is it as simple as putting the vinyl on like a sticker? I noticed someone above said he was going to use soap and water with a squeege - just though some of the successful installs could share their steps with the rest of us....thanks.

I recieved the coupe vinyl, tried applying it, and failed. I managed to rip the corner because I was too fussy about the air bubbles. The coupe tail light is very difficult to apply because of the curvature. It is near impossible to get out all the air bubbles so I was thinking maybe I can use soap and water almost like how tinting is done and squegy them out. Also maybe it will be a little easier to just cover the amber portion instead of the entire assembly. I'm not giving up on this yet I orded 2 more sets to experiment with and will get it right next time. Thanks Legendary93
I didn't rip mine, but I have a LOT of air bubbles and wrinkles around the edges of the light. I only put one on to see the difference for a couple of days. I am going to try to get some of the bubbles and wrinkles out tonight and I'll post some pix. From far away though, it does look nice...especially for the price!

Legendary93, thanks for heading this sweet idea up for everyone

Pictures of the right side installed, looks great except for the air bubbles and wrinkles around the edges. I am going to try to get more of them out today and if it changes a lot, I will post more pics.

EDIT: Pics Removed

the only reason i made the coupe set so big was because everyone was trippin about making sure everything was covered. You can easily trim off the folds in the vinyl with a sharp blade, and the bubbles can be popped and the air pushed out. If there are any other suggestions on how to make it better, let me know. I am so swamped right now with my job and this divorce, and the fact that my car got broken into, i really dont have time to do anything else. sorry, guys, but i will be putting this on hold for a week or 2.....

LEGENDARY 93, I did not mean to come off like I wasn't happy with it if that's the way you took my comments. I am VERY happy with the results, I am just also VERY lazy and haven't invested the time to finish working out the bubbles. I would still recomend this purchase to anyone looking to enhance the look of their ride. I would rather have the vinyl too big, than not big enough!

Anyway, thanks again for getting this done for all of us.

Just wondering on the status of shipment?

same here i sent the payment and still no answer......

Legendary is going through some crap right now. He'll be back and he'll make it right, he's not the kind of guy to rip people off.

For the record, it wasnt me checking my a-l account, it was a co worker that I had given access to the site with my user name and password at my station. I really want to publicly apologize for the inconvenience that I have put everyone through; I am truly sorry. I have been going through quite a bit of life-changing issues; I do not intend on making excuses, so I just want to apologize and make it right. I will refund everyone' money that did not recieve their due goods or services from me, and as soon as I have the time and resources again, I will replace the items that I promised. I will be visiting the site more often after the middle of next week, when a few of these issues that I have should be resolved. I am going to clear out my pm box and leave room for anyone for messages from anyone that feels that I owe them something. I will then issue my cell number and take care of each indiviual on a one-on-one basis as they pm me. So if anyone else out there knows of anyone that I need to square up with, please let them or me know. I am not the type of person to let this kind of thing happen, and I want to keep my reputation as well as my self-image. I could easily disappear from this site and not give it a second thought, but that is not the type of person I am. I am sorry for this being dragged on for so long. I appreciate everone's patience and look foward to getting my stuff straight so that I can get back on here in a month or so with my head high. I am not going to be sharing my issues with anyone until I get all this stuff here taken care of. Its been a crazy few months for me. I look foward to jumping back into the community,

I just want to say that legendary93 was very quick and helpful with me when I bought this tint film - I had a custom request and he saw everything through with great communication and even gave me a great price. Overall a great transaction.

I also wanted to post up some pix I took of my tails (sorry its with my cell phone and not my digicam - still nice shots though)

I painted the inside of my old 91 sedan lenses with transparent paint and done this method on my 94 coupe. Overall I feel this way looks better and was easier to do. The tint has held up really well over this bad Canadian winter. It still looks as nice as the day I installed it (last summer).
